Urban Agriculture Project

To support the Globeville, Elyria Swansea youth corp, story corp, and 2010 documentation form.

The organization builds community-based urban greenhouse farms and markets to feed and sustain themselves and their communities through improving year-round access to fresh food.

Cross Community Coalition

Feeding Our Families

To support the 2010 "Feeding Our Families" prgram in partnership with Garden Place Academy, Cross Community Coalition, and Denver's Metro Ministries.

This group is working together to create a food program for students and families at Garden Place Academy.

Knights Drum Project

To support the drums and equiptment needs of the Denver Marching Knights.

Denver Marching Knights is a youth drum performance group made up of youth residents from Northeast Denver and Original Aurora.

Volunteer Victim Advocates

Elder Abuse Education Awareness

To support the on-going training of VVA volunteers and distribution of informational brochures.

VVA trains community volunteers to educate community about warning signs of abuse and available services for victims.

ESL Classes & Mural

To support the ESL classes and community mural.

The POC will manage and evaluate the project.

Annual Food Distribution

To support the operations of the food bank and food for distribution.

The play will be videotaped and made available to the communty as a live performance as well.
